Fashion goals, right? We continue our Mother’s Day Q&A series with a true rockstar: Maggie Kleinfeld, founder of JamJamsJam and mom to Jack (4). Maggie started her brand shortly after Jack was born, and JamJamsJam seems to be growing just as beautifully as her little man.

The process behind their fun tees and onesies is really amazing: they start with eco-felt applique, made from 100% post consumer recycled plastic bottles. Each piece is hand cut, and some of their designs require many different applique components, which are then stiched onto the fabric. The result is a rockin’, one of a kind labor of love.

Catch up with Maggie about the highs and lows of motherhood, business life, and what’s coming from JamJamsJam.

If you were picking, what would you be getting for Mother’s Day?

A massage!

What’s your most embarrassing mom story?

Any tantrums in public. Happens to every mom but when it does it’s the worst.

A recent proud moment?

When Jack told me he liked broccoli.

What advice can you give to other moms who are starting a business?

Stick with it, be patient, don’t be hard on yourself.

You juggle so many different things, what helps you stay organized?

Making lists! If I don’t make a daily list I forget what I need to do.

What’s in store for JamJamsJam in the next few months?

More denim jackets! I have so much fun making them and customers love the details each jacket features. I would love to make some for adults.

It’s Saturday morning and you have no plans. What’s your ideal day with Jack?

Sleep in, eat pancakes (Jack’s favorite), then go to Owl’s Head park.

Don’t miss Maggie & JamJamsJam and our upcoming Cut & Crafted Summer show at Industry City! June 9 + 10 at the Factory Floor.
